Chapter 15 put LangGraph next to its competitors and showed you enough of it to build a loop with a checkpointer. That is the level at which most teams adopt it, and it is also the level at which most teams get hurt: a reducer that is not commutative produces a different answer on every second run, an interrupt call re-executes the email-sending line above it, a thread that "just stores messages" fills the database with 480 KiB per conversation, and a default recursion limit that nobody read lets a runaway loop burn tokens for ten thousand steps. …
